The eighth generation Corvette is a beauty packed with power, performance, technology and features. The all-new 2020+ C8 Corvette is equipped with fuel economy improvement technology called Active Fuel Management (AFM) which is a cylinder deactivation system designed to improve fuel economy under light driving conditions. AFM is an awesome feature until you want to install an aftermarket exhaust to give your C8 an exhaust sound that is 100% on and 100% cool. Why? Installing an aftermarket exhaust on your C8 removes the AFM/NPP sensors in the OE exhaust system. If these sensors are not present, a Check Engine Light (CEL) error will be displayed which is distracting and, well, just plain irritating to any C8 driver who wants ta different tune on their Corvette exhaust note!
What's the solution? Installation of a simple AFM/NPP module when you install your aftermarket exhaust. This simple kit includes:
- 2 NPP modules
- 2 AFM modules
Modules will trick the valve actuators so the CEL is not tripped and giving everyone the opportunity to sing a new tune!
